Places to travel: Post covid-19

With the Chinese virus COVID-19 increasing at an exponential pace. It is safe for us to stay at home and take care of ourselves just so that we can live up to another day to enjoy our rides. This pandemic will pass too.

Well, this is not about what to do during quarantine but post quarantine. Once this is done and safe for everyone to step out of home you can visit these places for a refreshing start to normalcy.

Before you set off for this journey get your cars serviced from the authorized service center to avoid possibilities of any breakdown. Now let's zoom.

For those who love to go to waterfalls here is a small list of my own (Bangalore specific).

1) Hogenakkal falls

Located 140Kms from Bangalore (Tamil Nadu- Karnataka border)
Also known as the Niagara falls of India this place is breathtakingly beautiful.
To visit this blissful place one needs a boat ride right from the parking lot.

2) Chunchanakatte Falls

Located 220Kms away from Bangalore. The waterfall comes on the way to Mysore via NH75.

3) Iruppu falls

Located 260kms from Bangalore. This fall originates from Brahamma giri range. Known for its power to cleanse a person's sins.

4) Manchanabele dam

Although this is not a waterfall but this place is really calm and silent.
Located just 55Kms from Bangalore.
Yes you can go camping here and enjoy some activities.

5) Gaganachukki Barachukki fall

Located 130kms from Bangalore (near Mandya).
The eastern front of the waterfalls is Gaganachukki and the western lead is Barachukki. Together Gaganachukki and Barachukki come to be called as Shivasamudra. Asia's 1st hydro-project plant is located here.

For those who are hill's lover.

1) Makalidurga

Located 62kms on the outskirts of Bangalore. This place is all about trekking. Follow a railway track. run through bushes and tall grasses. Located at the bottom of the hills is a pond where you can later refresh. Well that's like an icing on top of cake.

2) Biligiriranga hills

Located 200kms from Bangalore. This fantastic place passes through a wildlife sanctuary Be careful of the leopards.

3) Sakleshpur

Have a 4x4? Thinking where you test your off-road capabilities? Sakleshpur is the answer. Located 222kms away from Bangalore. This lushy green area is fun for off-roaders. #mustvisit

4) Kolli Hills

Want the road to be enjoyable and engaging while going to the destination? This is that one spot with 72steep hairpin bends. Once this engaging drive ends you get to reach a peaceful hill station.
