#TriberTurbo : Coming Soon !

Image
Renault India launched Triber  in August 2019 and recently they have also started exporting the mini MPV to international markets. Renault has done a great job with the Triber by packaging 7 seats in under 4 meter which are actually usable too. And now it seems they want to address its bigger shortcoming, that of a weak motor, by launching the Renault Triber Turbo Petrol next year. The only downside with the Triber, as we mentioned above, is the slightly underpowered 1.0 litre 3 cyl NA engine which produces a meek 72 ps of power and 96 Nm of torque. The Triber was supposed to get a 5-speed AMT but they procrastinated and shifted the launch to next year, once BS6 emission norms kick in. Renault recently announced that they will be launching a new variant of the Triber with a turbo petrol engine and also an AMT gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo codenamed as HR10 is a 3-cylinder engine. However official power figures aren’t revealed yet but we expect it to produce around 9

Why Honda Civic is still the best C - Segment Sedan in India ?

Image
-Tirth Pandya This is a nose-to-tail, top-to-toe overhaul of the Honda Civic. It’s much better to drive – close to class best in many ways – and sleeker with it. Yet the space of the old Civic has survived intact, if not perhaps its cabin versatility. Most noticeably, it’s far lower than before, which makes it feel more lithe to drive. Lowering it has also reclined the passengers, so it’s longer. The chassis now has a multi-link rear suspension so as to combine handling precision with better comfort. Adaptive dampers appear on upper-spec versions. You’ve now a choice of 2 engines, an NA petrol engine and one Diesel this time ! The petrol is the same old 1.8L NA but this time only with a CVT (which is a BIG BUMMER) & the Diesel is a 1.6L unit available with only the slushbox & NO AT ! The diesel is a 118bhp unit. India does not get the Civic Type - R or the 1.5L Turbo Petrol that the international model gets. Exterior styling of all new Civics is busy with li
