India's leading automotive show will be attended by 11 global car manufacturers, who will showcase a wealth of new technology and features in their upcoming new products. A shorter list of participants for the upcoming biennial automotive show can be linked to the downturn in the Indian automotive industry. Here are 11 car manufacturers that we hope to see at the Auto Expo 2020.

1) Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd.
2) Hyundai Motor Company
3) Tata Motors Pvt. Ltd.
4) Kia Motors India
5) MG Motor India Inc.

It is expected that all the manufacturers will be showcasing their production ready as well as as concept line-up for the future.
The Auto Expo will be taking place at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida from 7 - 13th February 2020. So lets kick off the list right away.

MARUTI SUZUKI
Maruti Suzuki which is the automobile giant in the Indian market has quiet a few products on the stable

Suzuki e-WagonR

The company has been test rigorously the electric version of WagonR. As per reports Maruti wouldn't be showcasing the e-WagonR for the autoexpo but will be showing it's future plans for EV , named Futuro-E concept. This will be something to look forward for the expo.

VITARA BREZZA (facelift)

The Vitara Brezza is all ready to receive it's facelift. On the exterior it is expected to have minor cosmetic changes. Expect a new front and rear bumpers and a new headlight and tail light design. Whereas the major change is in the heart of the matter. The Brezza was always provided with diesel power mill , with the BS-6 norms kicking in soon the company has shifted to a petrol mill. A proper Automatic transmission can be expected to be launched with the competitive package.

Ignis (facelift)

The Suzuki Ignis sold via Suzuki's premium outlet the NEXA has always been receiving minor facelifts so is this time. The images for the upcoming Ignis has been leaked and the visible changes were as expected it received a new bumper both front and rear. The Ignis had always been aimed towards the millennial. Being an on looker the rear classic design hadn't been appreciated well with few people.

Expect a surprise

We may be get the glimpse of the Grand Vitara which is on sale on global platform. Suzuki axed the sale of the Grand Vitara in India a few years ago. Expect Suzuki to have plan to relaunch the same for the market.

Also expect Suzuki to launch the Nexa version of the WagonR as XL5. #dilsestrong 😂

HYUNDAI

The second company that has read the Indian market well and supplies based on customers needs is Hyundai.

CRETA (2nd generation)

Well this is not going to be any facelift but a generation change. The incoming Creta is launched in China as ix25. The design doesn't seem to be appealing to the mass. Well maybe in flesh it will be an eye-catcher. The engines are expected to be carried over from it's cousin the KIA Seltos.

TUCSON (i20 on steriods?)

On the exterior front the Hyundai Tucson revains more or less the same as the outgoing version. Mechanically it will be upgraded to meet the BS6 emission norms. Offered with the current set of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, added with BS6 compliance. While the petrol-Powered Tucsion will continue to be coupled with a 6-Speed AT, the 2.0-litre diesel mill is expect to perform with a 8-speed automatic transmission option. Expect the fever of floating touchscreen with this Hyundai too.

TATA MOTORS

Generally associated with the term "Built like a tank" the Indian automobile manufacturer has some serious stuffs lined up.

NEXON (facelift)

The G-NCAP crash test 5 Star child has matured up with its looks. The facelifted Nexon has lost its curves to look more aggressive and matured. It looks in the updated format as mean and ready to take on it's competition. The updated Nexon gets a new grill upfront with new bumpers and new headlight set up. The company may also launch the Nexon ev along with the updated BS6 engines of Nexon. Should you look at it? Pretty much yes.

Gravitas (Buzzard)

Launched in Geneva motorshow 2019 as Buzzard the 7 seater version of Harrier is all ready to make its debut in India as Gravitas. TATA may decide to launch a petrol and automatic variant from Hyundai with the Gravitas and at the same time update the Harrier too with more features.

Ain't that interior an onlooker?

Hornbill

Recently spotted testing the TATA Hornbill the TATA H2X maybe shown in the AutoExpo2020. The Hornbill code named H2X will be rivaling the entry level SUV's the French Renault's offering Kwid and the S-Presso ☕.

KIA MOTORS

With it's debut as KIA Seltos and crossing 25,000 sales in no time. The KIA Seltos has beaten it's own sibling in the sales chart (well siblings are annoying right? ).

CARNIVAL

The van or MPV will be rivaling against the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta the segment leader for many years. You think Carnival has got what it takes to dethrone the Crysta from it's position? By looks it may be used a lot by the cab and luxury hotel operators in India.

MORRIS GARAGES (Internet hai)

HECTOR Plus (Hector 6 Seater)

The Chinese owned British company MG made its entry in India with it's internet connected vehicle the MG HECTOR. With it's 2nd product being a bang on electric eZS. The company seems to be ticking all the right boxes attracting crowd towards it , With the 5 seater version of Hector well established MG is all set to bring in the 6 seat version named as Hector plus.

Will it be same as the Hector? Well nope! Although the car will be mechanically same but with a BS6 tune. The car will have a revised set of tail-lamps and head-lamps.

SKODA  India

Skoda means German safety.

OCTAVIA vRS 245

Skoda is all set to bring in the Octavia RS245 to India. Well this RS gets 15BHP more power than its predecessor. Yes in total it gets screaming 245bhp. Expect the rocket to be launched at 40-45 Lakhs range. Does the Octavia 245 have any competition? Doesn't look like until Honda decides to launch the Honda Civic Type-R to up the game.

Skoda Vision IN

Zac Hollis, Director, Skoda Auto India, had previously confirmed that the compact SUV will go on sale in India in the second quarter of 2021. The interior sketch has already been revealed and promises a clutter-free cabin loaded with tech.

Skoda has already revealed the interior sketch on the Vision IN concept that will bring in a host of tech and creature comfort in a clutter-free design. The upcoming SUV is based on the MQB A0 IN platform, which is an Indianised version of Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) architecture that the automaker uses globally and has been developed specilly for the Indian market.

HAVAL (Great Wall Motors)

Another brand new Chinese car maker is all set to make it's debut this year in India during the AutoExpo 2020. They have a sort of exciting range of products in both IC and EV format. The portfolio presented looks promising. But will it have what it takes to beat the already settled companies in India.

ORA R1

Looks a lot similar to the Honda-e. Well the cute looks if has a good range can extend upto a lot.

HAVAL H6

The upcoming product of Haval GWM the H6 maybe competing against the Endeavour and Fortuner. Well now that's going to be interested.

Is India ready for Haval? The sales figure will say it.
