KIA CARNIVAL, it's so huge you can carnival in it

Lets host a carnival in the Carnival.

Few years ago in the Indian automobile market if anyone wanted a comfortable 7-seater the only name that used to pop up in everyone's mind used to be the king of MPV's Toyota Innova, which later got a generation update the all new Innova Crysta. Well now the concepts may have been changed with the introduction of the new South Korean brand the KIA.

KIA had recently showcased their line-up for the Indian market of which the most attractive was the KIA CARNIVAL.

Standing tall, long and wide the Carnival measures 5115 X 3060 X 1985 (mm), which is already larger than it's main rival, the Crysta. It also means you can host a carnival inside the Carnival.

COLOR SCHEME

The Carnival will be on sale with 3 color schemes
- Aurora Black Pearl
- Glacier white Pearl
- Steel silver

On the interior it will be sporting a dual tone scheme of Black and Beige.

Mechanically the Carnival comes with only BS-6 compliant 2.2L CRDi Diesel engine churning out 200bhp @ 3800rpm . Maximum Torque kicking in at 440Nm @ 2750rpm. The power is channeled down the FRONT WHEELS via an 8 Speed AT which KIA loves to call as Sportmatic Transmission.

Design

The car appears to be a boxy UV but tries hard not to look like one with few striking design elements on front and side so on the rear end.

KIA's has well integrated its tiger grill design element in the vehicle.

The fog lamps are designed in ice cube format which adds to the quirky feature list of the vehicle.

With that sort of leg room lumbar support and 10 way adjustable driver seat you would want to lounge in this vehicle most of the time for the sort of comfort it offers. Well you can move in your house if you feel like.

When it comes to the side thats when it begins to look actually like an MPV. Well the doors? Yes , you have guessed it right they slide open, so entry and exit in tight spots is going to be a lot easier. Mention not these are one touch automatic doors i.e pull the handle once the door will slide open for you. Lazy to do that? Hold a button on the remote and it will do the job. Yes you can close it too.

KIA could have given a bit more sporty alloys. Else its all a normal looking MPV.

The Tail design thou being blank looks impressive and has an upmarket feel.

People in the back seat can enjoy either looking out of the huge windows which make the cabin airy or choose to look out at the sky from not just one but 2 huge sunroofs. Bored of looking out? Well fear not KIA has given infotainment system hooked up behind the seats for you to browse thru on the go.

For cities like Delhi where the pollution is too high. This smart pure air filter will always keep the cabin free from pollutants. Rest assured you won't be having breathing issues at least while on the move in the Carnival.

That Limousine badge really means its a limousine. Heck that you can really be chauffeured around in this huge thing while planning to host a carnival.

Should you go for a Carnival? Well if you want a luxurious 7-8-9 seat vehicle and also want to stand out of the crowd making heads turn while u zip through then surely KIA Carnival is the car of choice for you.
