750cc Royal Enfield Spied Again

750cc Royal Enfield Spied Again

Royal Enfield P61 (Codename), a new Twin-Cylinder motorcycle with a displacement of around 750 cc, has been spotted testing several times now.

The 750cc Royal Enfield was spied again this time on Maduravoyal-Tambaram Bypass in Chennai.
This time the RE 750cc was chased by a Bajaj Dominar 400 Rider.
The Dominar rider at a point of time was at his best speed of 162Kmph but the RE was still 50-100 metres ahead which indicates that the RE750 could be a Heavy Highway style Cruiser.
Ahead also we had seen a video of a Duke rider chasing the RE750 at 155Kmph, so we could conclude that the RE has a capaciy if doing speeds in excess of 200Kmph

The new RE750cc motorcycle is expected to be available in two-body styles. It is intended to rival the popular middle-weight models like Harley Davidson Street 750, Triumph Bonneville, etc. We expect the new RE to have a power output less than the statutory limit of 48 PS.

We expect that this motorcycle would hit the UK market first in Mid-2018 and the India launch could be in the late 2018.
